Cardno is currently seeking a Program Manager to lead a technically and geographically diverse team currently executing a $5 million annual on-call environmental contract within our power and energy sector. The successful candidate will have the overall responsibility to develop additional work under our existing MSAs and work with the senior principals to position Cardno for upcoming opportunities. Cardno currently has multiple contract vehicles and is in the process of proposing on additional ones. The ideal Candidate will have established relationships with Northern and Southern California Utility Project Managers and be capable of generating in excess of $2 million in new business within 12 months. Candidate will report to the Sothern California Business Unit Manager with a dotted line to the Cardno Power and Energy Sector Manager. Upon winning new work, the Candidate will work existing resources to deliver the agreed, defined project deliverables on time, within budget, and of the quality that is in accordance with Cardno and client business, technical and HSE requirements, and regulatory compliance. Job Description: QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum BS degree in engineering/geology (civil, environmental, chemical, mechanical or geotechnical) or related science with 10+ years of environmental consulting experience
• Professional registration is desired
• Experience power sector environmental permitting, biology, and archeology, projects

• Ability to analyze and interpret common scientific journal and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of State (CA) and Federal regulations
• OSHA 40-hour training with current OSHA 8hr refresher a plus
• Ability to work well in a project team and a fast paced environment
• Ability to travel (Southern CA) as needed.

Supervise and delegate tasks to Cardno staff and/or subcontractors. Will be a self-starter, anticipating and initiating business development and Project Management without prompting from their Supervisor.
