From direct mail and loyalty, email and CRM programs to database and analytics management, we provide data-driven direct marketing services that will grow our customers' business. The OvareGroup is a private, Louisville-based media and marketing communications company with specialty firms in advertising, production, identity design, experiential engagement, and business transformation services. Through the effective application of creativity, technology and data, we offer particular expertise in branding, retail, restaurant and healthcare marketing. In addition to Louisville, we have offices in Cincinnati, Columbus, Los Angeles, Orlando, Toronto, and Vancouver. ADM is seeking a VP of New Business Development to drive growth through new business acquisition, primarily in the restaurant vertical calling on medium to large US based, restaurant chains. For the right candidate with an entrepreneurial spirit, this a rare opportunity to join a progressive firm and grow the division in conjunction with our sister agency, Scoppechio. Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in marketing, communications, business or related field
  • A minimum of five years progressive experience selling in the marketing communications or professional services fields.
  • Must be a hunter with a track-record of onboarding new business and not afraid of aggressive goals.
  • Consultative sales experience - the ability to understand customers marketing goals, qualify for fit with ADM and OvareGroup solutions, uncover budget sources, craft and present impactful solutions.
  • Restaurant industry or data analytics and direct marketing industry experience preferred
  • Experience selling marketing services to the c-suite, in areas such as direct marketing, email, loyalty, data consulting and analytics services, etc.
  • A passion for data driven marketing and the ability to lead discovery conversations with clients regarding the benefits of data consolidation, (better data, better decisions), using trade area analysis, geo-targeting, list segmentation, data analysis, and more to propel customers' direct marketing efforts to new levels.
  • Skilled at complex sales cycles, selling to groups, coordinating with ADM and OvareGroup subject matter experts to help in client discovery and presentations in a team selling environment.
  • Great networking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead new business teams in the pitch process
  • Excellent verbal, written, project management and presentation skills
  • Experience using CRM such as Pipedrive or Salesforce.com, MS Office products (Excel, Word, PPT, Teams). Benefits and Compensation
    • Position is full-time with a generous base plus uncapped commission.

      Responsibilities
      • Support a culture of growth within the office
      • Collaborate with the President on strategy to improve win rate, ROI and other office/region-specific goals
      • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of ADM Marketing, relevant technical specialties and potential client needs
      • Strong communications skills to effectively articulate ideas to colleagues, prospects and others
      • Support business development initiatives across the office
      • Coordinate leads as they come in
      • Maintain data integrity of current pipeline opportunities
      • Facilitate appropriate resources (research, creative, etc.) for all prospects and pitch opportunities
      • Organize and engage in brainstorms
      • Communicates responses and pitch, while creating new content
      • Manage the presentation process
      • Work with finance and the new account team after won to ensure rapid activation
      • Develop and implement a prospect database tracking systems
      • Identifies target organizations and key prospects
      • Ensure that the office maintains a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects
      • Ability to conduct impactful virtual meetings with prospects and customers, and in a post pandemic world, travel to visit customers as well as attend industry trade events (post-pandemic).
      • Consistently utilize Salesforce.com to document sales activity and client / prospect details and provide weekly sales funnel reports to the division president.
      • Effectively work with partner companies to cross-sell and build strategic partnerships.
