Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A Special Education Teacher position is available in
Surprise, AZ, offering a contract through the next school year
until May 21, 2026. This onsite role supports students with
disabilities by providing specialized instruction and case
management in accordance with legal and educational guidelines.
Current openings include: - K-2nd Grade Specially Designed
Classroom (STC) teacher with structured teaching experience -
7th-8th Grade Resource teacher - Preschool Special Education
teacher Key responsibilities: - Deliver direct instruction tailored
to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) - Manage and monitor
compliance with federal, state, and district regulations related to
IEPs - Develop and implement a full continuum of services to meet
student needs - Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student
progress and services - Participate in the Response to Intervention
(RtI) process as a consultant - Maintain open communication with
parents and guardians to support student success - Implement
behavior intervention plans and provide behavior management support
- Collaborate with school staff to incorporate accommodations and
modifications - Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
for all students - Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications:
- Current Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification is
required - Must obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity
