Job Description:
A school district is seeking a Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of
Hearing for the 23/24 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver virtual lessons and support services to students who are
deaf or hard of hearing
Utilize technology and specialized teaching methods to create an
inclusive learning environment
Provide individualized instruction and support based on student
needs and accommodations
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or related
field
Valid teaching certification in Deaf Education or Special Education
for deaf and hard of hearing students
Experience teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing,
preferably in a virtual setting
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiarity with
other communication modalities
Knowledge of assistive technologies and software used in virtual
education for deaf and hard of hearing students
