Job Description Job Description Summary: The Post Office
Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Casa
Blanca Market Post Office. This position is accountable for
ensuring that all postal services are performed accurately,
efficiently, and in compliance with United States Postal Service
(USPS) rules, security standards, and reporting requirements. The
Post Office Supervisor oversees assigned staff, maintains required
records and controls, and serves as the primary point of contact
between Casa Blanca Market and USPS for all postal operations.
Responsibilities: Operations Oversight: Oversee daily Post Office
operations including mail handling, package processing, money
orders, stamp sales, and postal transactions Ensure full compliance
with USPS policies, procedures, security standards, and reporting
requirements Maintain accurate records, cash logs, and required
USPS documentation Monitor inventory of postal supplies and submit
replenishment requests Ensure opening, closing, and security
procedures are followed at all times Staff Supervision and
Training: Supervise Post Office clerks, including scheduling,
coverage, and daily assignments Train and coach staff on USPS
procedures, cash handling, customer service, and compliance Provide
ongoing guidance, corrective action, and performance feedback
Ensure all staff follow postal regulations, safety standards, and
service expectations Ensures all required training and compliance
training is completed, renewed, and documented in accordance with
USPS standards. Customer Service: Provide direct customer service
during peak periods or staffing shortages Address customer
questions, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely
manner Ensure services are delivered respectfully, efficiently, and
with sensitivity to Community needs Maintain a clean, organized,
and welcoming Post Office environment Coordination and
Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between Casa Blanca
Market Management and USPS representatives Communicate operational
issues, compliance concerns, and staffing needs to Market
leadership Coordinate with Market management regarding store hours,
closures, and situations impacting postal services Support USPS
audits, inspections, and compliance reviews Compliance and
Accountability: Ensure all postal funds, stamps, and money orders
are handled according to USPS and company policy Conduct routine
audits, cash counts, and reconciliations Immediately report
discrepancies, security concerns, or incidents Follow all company
and Tribal policies related to safety, confidentiality, and
workplace conduct Supervisor Responsibility: Oversees the
supervision of personnel, which includes hiring, work allocation,
training, problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes
recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to
achieve peak productivity and performance; provides guidance and
feedback for assigned staff. Other Duties: Please note this job

representatives May require flexible scheduling, including early
mornings, holidays, or special coverage needs Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to sit, stand, and walk extended period. The employee
occasionally is required to bend, climb, stoop, lift, carry, push,
kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or
move 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Required Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. Two (2) years
prior Post Office experience One (1) year of Supervisory Experience
in a Post Office, Retail or related field. One (1) year working
knowledge of USPS transactions, procedures, and compliance
standards Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for
client meetings and events. Valid AZ driver’s license, provide a
39-month satisfactory MVR report. Obtain a Tribal operator driving
permit at the time of hire. A satisfactory result obtained through
a test for illegal drugs. Acknowledge and agree to maintain a
drug-free workplace. Preferred Qualifications: Strong cash-handling
accuracy and attention to detail Ability to supervise staff and
manage daily Post Office operations Strong customer service and
communication skills Basic computer skills and ability to use
postal systems Knowledge and experience working with Gila River
Indian Community or other Native American Communities. Proficient
in MS office and other relevant workplace tools.
