This role is critical in ensuring the visual appeal and maintenance of our outdoor environments, aligning with our commitment to providing exceptional service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of our properties through a variety of outdoor tasks, ensuring safety, and adhering to Marriott’s high standards of aesthetics and functionality. Maintain lawns, gardens, walkways, and other outdoor spaces. Operate landscape maintenance equipment safely and proficiently. Perform routine checks and maintenance on gardening and grounds equipment. Apply pesticides and fertilizers while adhering to safety and environmental guidelines. Assist with seasonal planting and upkeep initiatives. Report any safety hazards or structural issues on the property grounds. Collaborate with other facilities staff to ensure overall property appearance and safety. Proficiency in operating landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, etc.) Knowledge of horticultural practices Ability to work in various weather conditions Strong attention to detail Good physical condition and endurance Professional certification in landscaping or horticulture preferred Valid driver’s license
